The Men of Letters Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization made up primarily of individuals from the Supernatural family. The goal is to assist those in need through a referral process submitted by its members with each case or file reviewed, approved, or denied by the board of directors. There is no limit to which the Men of Letters Foundation can assist a person in need. Each referral will be reviewed for compliance within the standards of the foundation and submitted to the board for approval at either its regularly scheduled meeting or by the special committee when necessary.
Intent:
It is the intent of this foundation to be a beacon for the weary and broken. To always have a home, a family and support. It is made up of people from all walks of life, all examples of the human condition. Who share a common theme and that is to care for each other, to help however you can, and never be afraid to ask for support.
Examples:
What the foundation can accomplish can be as simple as a person may need help moving. A referral would be submitted for approval, once approved the case file would be sent to the local Legacy. Who would, in turn, reach out to the hunters in their region and schedule it to be completed. Another example could be that a person needs an appliance. Again, the referral would be approved, and the case file sent to the local Legacy. That person will then coordinate with hunters to purchase and install the appliance. Could be that a hunter or legacy can get a discount at a retail store and that would help with the expenses. Those are examples of small tasks that can be performed.
The foundation is only limited by its funding capacity at the time of the request.
